Step by Step
Moving cautiously, Yuji descends to the lower levels of Shibuya Station. Every step he takes is met with the sound of voices from the past, whether it is the mocking voices of cursed spirits or his grandfather's well-known voice. After recovering control of his body from the King of Curses, Sukuna, Yuji is still in a trance and finds it difficult to process everything that has occurred over the last several hours.
Another individual trudges past nearby through the dimly lit station passageways, the sound of their footsteps resonating across the vinyl flooring. However, Kento Nanami imagines a cool sea breeze and bright sunshine caressing his face. With the waves lazily breaking near him, he strolls along the shimmering sand. Actually, horribly burned by Jogo's searing touch, Nanami barely makes it as he stumbles forward. He walks right by the cursed spirit Mahito without realizing he's there.
Final Fight
Nanami goes deeper and deeper inside the station. When he eventually opens the last of his eyes in the glaring fluorescent light, dozens of hideous, altered humans appear before him. His thoughts are still elsewhere, daydreaming of erecting a house on a remote Malaysian beach. For a moment, he questions the whereabouts of the other Jujutsu Sorcerers. Despite his extreme fatigue, Nanami's body acts instinctively and eliminates each transformed species in turn.
In his reverie, Nanami breathes in the sea breeze and smiles, his body restored and whole. Every swing in Shibuya is an effort. Yuji rushes forward as he hears the noises of the battle as Nanami slices through the beasts.
Nanamin?
At last, Nanami detects Mahito behind him as the final transformed human collapses. It had been the cursed spirit all along. The assiduous Jujutsu Sorcerer senses that his time is running out as he softly touches Nanami's back. Just as Yuji discovers them, Nanami sees his high school friend Yu Haibara, a sorcerer who was killed by a cursed ghost years earlier, standing before him.
Nanami fears that what he will say next would strain Yuji, but Haibara's vision shows the young sorcerer with hope in his eyes. "You take it from here," Nanami says with a calm smile as he turns to face Yuji. Mahito rips apart Nanami.
You're a Sorcerer of Jujutsu.
After staring in astonishment for a brief period, Yuji yells and charges toward Mahito, tripping over the blood from Nanami's final stand. Because the wicked cursed spirit knows that Yuji detests harming helpless animals, it releases transfigured human after transfigured human. With joy, Mahito engages in combat, taunting and ridiculing the youthful Jujutsu Sorcerer in an attempt to derail him. He slashes a long gash through Yuji's face. When Yuji questions the cursed spirit about how he can take so many lives, Mahito simply smiles and says that they are both the same. Knowing that Nanami wouldn't lose himself in rage, Yuji focuses his cursed force once more.
Mahito creates a wall of flesh out of the humans he has stored. As the wall closes in, the special-grade cursed spirit and the Jujutsu Sorcerer trade lethal strikes. When Yuji eventually overcomes it, their battle goes on. Mahito attacks Yuji with blades, meaty missiles, fists, feet, and maybe even his lips, but Yuji ducks and retaliates. Yuji turns a corner and encounters a pair of people. As he converses with them, he discovers it's one of Mahito's ruses. One of the men opens his mouth and speaks Mahito.
Protection
Mahito remembers how he set up a trap earlier in the evening to keep Yuji off-balance as he transforms the other human into a hideous sword. One Mahito entered the lower station, while the other went by the side of the street, as the cursed spirit split into two. In a Shibuya alleyway, one Mahito is fighting Yuji shortly after 11:00 PM, while the other is fighting someone else at the same moment. It's Kugisaki Nobara.
Nobara confronts the cursed entity without fear. When she makes fun of him, Mahito immediately grows fond of her. With a swift thought, the Jujutsu Sorcerer pulls out her weapon and retrieves her information about the cursed spirit. Nobara initiates the attack. Seeing that Yuji and the Jujutsu High student are close, Mahito devises a new scheme in which he will drag her corpse to the young sorcerer in an attempt to crush his spirit entirely. However, you should never undervalue Noba.
