It has been reported by Spanish video game publisher SelectaPlay that OVERLORD: ESCAPE FROM NAZARICK, a cult blockbuster, would be available for the Nintendo Switch in a new physical version in 2024. With an original scenario overseen by Overlord novel author Maruyama Kugane, the game was first made available digitally only outside of Japan in July 2022 through Steam and the Nintendo eShop.

The Great Tomb of Nazarick is an underground tomb, and players will assume the role of warrior Clementine upon awakening. Ainz Ooal Gown, an enigmatic zombie, has imprisoned her and is forcing her to take part in cruel experiments. She must overcome Ainz and his several formidable servants in order to escape, lacking her weapons and suffering from amnesia.
